Vegan month November 12

November sees the start of World Vegan Month and for our part we are determined to show that if you are a vegan or thinking of becoming a vegan then you can still enjoy fine food and wine.

For the whole of November will will providing at least one vegan special on each service, two on most days. We will show that vegan food can be just as tasty and innovative as non vegan food.

We will also be serving vegan wines previously only available by the bottle by the glass and we promise that you will be impressed with both the taste and the quality.

Saturday 8^th October The Marlowe Theatre opened its doors

In future when an event is scheduled in the main auditorium

The Hutch will be open from 17:30hrs for a pre theatre dinner special.

We will be offering a choice of two courses for £12.50 or three for £14.95.

Friday 14^th October for two weeks; Canterbury Festival

The Hutch is keen to embrace the Canterbury Festival and so
is taking part in The Big Eat Out.

During the festival we will be offering two courses for £10

between 17:30 and 19:00 hrs

Saturday 15^th October

The Hutch anniversary, yes it really has been a year, and to
celebrate The Hutch will be hosting a celebration evening which will involve 4 courses for £25 with a complimentary glass of fizz on arrival.

Graduation days for Christchurch University and U.K.C . The
Hutch will be offering a celebration menu for the successful

grandaunts and their families. (Booking essential)

Christmas menu



Its unavoidable, Christmas is only weeks away so The
Hutch is launching its Christmas Menu which will be available

to individuals and groups of up to 35 people from December 1st

Summer is officially here in Canterbury

 The Hutch has seating in front of the restaurant for twenty people and has an enviable amount of sunshine for most of the day. It is a beuatiful spot to sit and watch the world go by whilst enjoying a fabulous al fresco feast.

Great news for coffee lovers

At Last We Have Opened

As promised we opened on schedule on Friday night, October 15th. The restaurant was fully booked following our day at the Kent Food Fair, thanks to all of you that came along.

On Sunday Riccardo prepared an all day roast dinner that went down exceptionally well. Keep following the site for news of upcoming changes and specials

The Hutch to appear at The Kent Food and Drink Festival 2010

Held in the historic Dane John Gardens in Canterbury from Friday 24th Sept ~ Sunday 26th Sept , the festival brings you the best of Kent produce from suppliers and retailers. We have secured a space there so why not come and meet us and catch up with our latest ideas to provide a unique dining experience in the County.

Premises licence causes delay in opening

As part of opening The Hutch we had to apply for a premises licence which unbeknown to us had been surrendered by the previous tenant. The last date for objections passed on 9th Sept of which there has only been one which we will endeavour to resolve as soon as possible
