We drove over specially to try out this new vegetarian restaurant and were delighted we did. What beautiful tasty food! I can't wait to go again. I'm what I'd call a semi-veggie; my husband is
not vegetarian at all. We both LOVED the food. The chilled beetroot and lemon soup was fab; the haggis was full of delicious subtle flavours; the apple dessert light, beautifully presented, and
again, full of delightful different flavours. We were both well satisfied with the quantity, and couldn't eat another thing! Our French waitress was welcoming, friendly, attentive, and
knowledgeable.
The restaurant is simple and basic in presentation - more bistro than plush; hard tiled floor with simple bare wooden tables and chairs. So if you're hoping for something grand, then this won't
be it - but the food is excellent. What a gem of a place!!
